First published to the web in 2015, Moongazing features Jenny Everywhere in an alternate present, dealing with the sudden appearance of strange, shapeshifting aliens. Along the way, she and other folks from nearby Compass Station sing songs, eat toast, and deal with living in a society made up of an eclectic mix of humans, simians, and electronic intelligences.
Moongazing takes place on and around Compass Station, which is a large, permanent space station in a Lissajous orbit around the Earth-Moon L5 point. Other locations include Vane Zillion's upgraded space-tug Rebel Gander and Professor Plott's laboratory on the hospital ship James Barry. And, sometimes, just floating in open space.
Jason Pineo writes, draws and publishes Moongazing himself.
